For Star Wars Battlefront on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Anyone else didn't get Battle of Jakku??'
Jan 27, 2016 - Here's how to get the Deluxe Edition items downloaded for Xbox One or PS4. Battle of Jakku is the free DLC that DICE and EA released a few days ago. If you can't find a fix for these issues here, head to EA's Technical. @EA taken long enough to download from the PSN store:( 0 replies 0 retweets 1 like. @EA it won't. Dude seriously wtf is up with EA it's things like this that makes me have second thoughts about the gaming.

The Battle of Jakku DLC is the first DLC to drop for EA's rendition of Star Wars Battlefront. Please keep all discussions related to the Jakku DLC in this megathread, all posts regarding the Jakku DLC made elsewhere while this thread is stickied will be deleted.
The Battle of Jakku is set just over one year after the Battle of Endor, between the forces of the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. A show of force by the Galactic Empire soon turns into a rout, as New Republic forces attack the Imperial fleet from all directions with unexpected gusto. At least 1 Super Star Destroyer and 3 Star Destroyers are lost, including the Star Destroyer Inflictor, which is set on a deliberate collision course with the planet in order to stop a team of disillusioned Imperials from capturing the Star Destroyer for the New Republic.
A myriad of Imperial ground troops have evacuated from a crash landed Star Destroyer, and engaged with New Republic forces on the surface in an epic battle.
The Battle of Jakku DLC sees the introduction of a new game mode for big maps: Turning Point. Turning Point is a vast Star Wars Battlefront game mode for 40 players, included in The Battle of Jakku. This mode portrays the efforts of the Rebel Alliance to defeat the Empire following the Battle of Endor.
Rebels need to locate and capture one of three control points in Imperial control. The clock is ticking, but if the Rebel team succeeds with a capture additional time will be added and new control points will be available for capture. Moving through these increasingly challenging checkpoints, the ultimate goal is the Empire’s base where the final stand will take place
Once the Rebels have started taking over a control point, it can’t be reclaimed by the Empire. Let’s say there’s only 25% left of the claim process and the Empire has managed to drive away the Rebels. This means that the Empire have to choose between defending this vulnerable point or another part of the map. The Rebels in turn need to decide where their next attack should be.
The Battle of Jakku DLC will feature two new maps, one large and one small.
Fight on the Graveyard of Giants in Turning Point, Supremacy, Walker Assault, and Fighter Squadron. The battles are ever-present; debris will be falling from the skies, and you’ll even see a Super Star Destroyer come crashing down during the round.
Experience the badlands of Goazan in Blast, Drop Zone, Droid Run, Cargo, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs. Villains.
